We continue to buy new lots of Faden Quartz from South Waziristan, on the border with Pakistan and Afghanistan. These are chains or compound crystals that have mended, knit, and augmented links between two sides of the fault. We have over 500 specimens of Epidote found in Baluchistan, Pakistan in 2011. Rare habits include tabular hexagonal crystals, and pseudo octahedral crystals, sometimes in combination, and penetration twins.. Epidote is generally found in prismatic habit and is monoclinic.
